Bad Day...

Today is not going to be a good day...other than me being pissy to begin with my desktop computer's monitor blew up and now I have to use this latop that is you barely touch it the wrong way it shuts off.

Another thing I was on a model portfolio site and I look at other model's portfolio's to get inspiration and ideas from it and I saw this one model had a decent portfolio and all these jobs she's been in so I e-mailed her and asked her some questions and complimented her portfolio and stuff and she just blew me off. She read the message but didn't bother writing me back.

Oh and these modeling portfolio sites are just really getting on my nerves. Well I basically joined to get constructive criticism about my portfolio and guidance about modeling from the people who actually really model but I don't think there's actually any REAL models on there. Maybe a handful if that... The photographer's are goofy as hell. One wanted me to do a shoot for a pirate magazine and the girls in his port were SO ugly. Who would even buy a pirate magazine? And there's a whole bunch of other stuff that irritates me. Like the photographers who are in love with the ugliest models (I shouldn't even say model...lets say wannabe) who couldn't even get into an agency, probably even a scam agency no matter how hard they tried...they just sleep with the photographers.

Well anyways, I'm going to be applying to a few agencies soon. Hopefully I can get an exclusive contract so I can't even shoot with any photographer unless it goes through my agency...so people will stop bugging me with these stupid jobs.
Okay, I'm done venting....hehe.

Bridal Shows?

Does anyone know how they pick models for the fashion shows at Bridal Shows? I know some probably go through agencies to pick their girls but I'm not sure if all do. Here's another pic that I did from the last shoot. I'm not sure if I like it all that much....my teeth look so huge!

Xander's Ears

Well Xander got his tubes put in his ears yesterday. Everything went fine and he was back to himself within a few hours. He seems to be babbling more and saying mama and dada more. His balance also got a lot better. Today he tried to climb up the entertainment center.

In a few hours he'll be one year old....my baby is growing up! =( *sniff sniff*

Busy

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been really busy with work and the baby. Xander's getting tubes put in his ears this Thursday because of his recurring and persistant ear infections. Hopefully that'll take care that problem. He went to the Audiologist last week and they told me that he has mild hearing loss because of the fluids in his ears. Hopefully after getting the tubes put in his hearing will improve and maybe he'll start talking!
I've also been busy with planning his first birthday party for this weekend. I kind of slacked off and didn't send out the invitations til last minute...but oh well. I can't change any of that.
I'm trying to get my webapge updated but I've been so busy I kind of put that aside for now. But hopefully soon I'll be able to get it up and running =)
